Need to fill up a BL box for myself, starting august by tying up some of these parachutes on a TMC 100BL #16 that was very successful up north this summer.

Midge on a TMC 518 #32
Hook: TMC 518 #32
Thread: TMC 16/0 black
Hackle: Whiting Bronze
Body: Hends superfine on the on to the right
A couple of really, really small flies here: on the TMC #32 these are some of the smallest hooks you can get now. The problem is not tying it on, the problem is actually getting the hackle small enough for this size!
Tiny Midges
Hook: Mustad 94840 #22
Thread: Sheer 14/0 Black
Tail: Leftover black hackle from Whiting
Body: Hends Superfine
Hackle: Whiting Bronze
It has been a busy summer with a lot of fishing, this particular midge in size #18 got me a 850gram grayling up north, so I need to get some more, but in even smaller size. Easy to tie up (as long as you have small enough hackle) and the fish will hunt this down!
A big tie-up for the summer
The summer is here and it has been quiet on dryfly for a while: I spend my time outdoors and enjoy the summer here in Norway, and it has been a hectic spring with travels to New York, Mongolia and now lastly to Mumbai in India. But: the summer is here and we need more flies for this years big trout trip.

Yellow parachute on a D-R 305 #12, my hackle supply is getting low, so some of these are a bit big, but they will work

Black parachute on Mustad 94840 #18
Black parachute on D-R 305 #12, I tend to have too long than too short wing-post, then I can cut and adjust as I’m in the river

Royal Wulff on D-R 305 #12
Larva on mustad 94840 #18, a sub-surface test that should work for trout and grayling
Enjoy the summer, I sure will!
Royal Wulff
Hook: Dai-Riki 305 #12
Thread: Sheer 14/0 White
Tail: Premium Deer
Body: Peacock, red floss
Hackle: Whiting Bronze
Wing: Kalf Hair
First time I’m going for a Royal Wulff on the vice. This is a great pattern if you are after trout, it will float forever and give a excellent impression on the surface. I don’t normally tie with calf either, so this was a first on more than one thing
